The World Bank Group (GBM) invited the Togolese government to a workshop on the Emergency Program for the Savannah Region (PURS) on Friday 27 January 2023. It is thus preparing to renew its support with the country for the period 2023-2027.

During the workshop, they discussed a new Country Partnership Framework (CPP) under development, with a view to strengthening the resilience of populations in the Savannah Region. They also took stock of the actions carried out under the programme, then identified the challenges to be addressed and appreciated the support that the GBM could provide.

During this meeting, the status of the implementation of PURS was presented. The agenda of this meeting, which provided an opportunity to discuss the perspectives of the 2023-2027 Country Partnership Framework (CPP) for the implementation of the Emergency Programme, was support from the World Bank portfolio for its implementation.
