The agreement between the Professional Association of Insurance Companies of Burkina (APSAB) and the Economic Interest Group of Pharmacists of Burkina (GIEPHAB) reflects the desire of both organizations to strengthen their partnership. They think of ensuring that insured persons are well cared for and that they will allow better monitoring on both sides of the third-party payer's activity. According to Dr Aymar Tiendrébéogo, president of the GIEPHAB board of directors, “this partnership is intended to improve the care of insured patients we receive in our pharmacies that have partnerships with the professional insurance association of Burkina Faso. This partnership will ensure that everything goes well between us and the insurance companies and between us and the customers that the companies send us.”
