On Monday, December 19, 2022, the second edition of the Guinea Industry Show (SIG-2022) was launched in Conakry by the Prime Minister and Head of Government Dr. Bernard GOMOU.

“ In the era of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA), what policy is there to strengthen the competitiveness of industrial companies? ” is the theme of the fair organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in collaboration with AFRIC-Compétence under financial support from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The commissioner-general of SIG 2022, Sékou Oumar Cissé believes that this show is an opportunity for Guinean industrialists to be better known. Because, according to him, “he recorded more than 14 panels and workshops that will be led by national and international experts in addition to technicians from the two countries invited with honor, Mali and Morocco. This will undoubtedly give light to Guinean industrial sectors.

For the UNIDO country representative, Ansoumane Bérété, this second SIG 2022 edition offers a unique opportunity to bring all actors together, celebrate progress, update the realities and perceptions of challenges, R&D accurate; affirm commitments, develop synergies, identify and take concrete initiatives.
