Togo and Ghana signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding last Wednesday in favor of mobile phone users in both countries. According to this protocol, communication costs will drop drastically starting in March 2024

Indeed, according to the documents, for Togolese in a roaming situation, receiving calls will become free during the first 30 consecutive days of stay, compared to a current billing of 240 FCFA/per minute at Togocel and 207 FCFA at Moov. The call broadcast, which is currently at 279 FCFA per minute at Togocel and 550 FCFA at Moov, will now cost 8.67 FCFA
