The Commercial Court of Cotonou was called upon by a client of BSIC-BENIN to demand the payment of more than one hundred million FCFA to the bank. BSIC-BENIN opposed the customer's suggestion that the bank should deduct 40% and pay him the remaining amount. She intends to keep 55% of the amount due and return 45% and has no longer responded to the customer's claims. The Commercial Court of Cotonou ordered BSIC-BENIN SA to reimburse the customer the sum of five million (5,000,000) CFA francs

for all causes of damage combined.
