The Commercial Court of Cotonou was called upon by a client of BSIC-BENIN to demand the payment of more than one hundred million FCFA to the bank. Indeed, according to the details of the facts, the client obtained a loan of 4 million FCFA with a maturity of 42 months in December 2019. He was allegedly dismissed a few months after receiving the loan, and the client's accounts at BSIC-BENIN paid an estimated seven million fifty-nine thousand seven hundred forty-six (7,159,746) CFA francs for compensation

BSIC-BENIN opposed the customer's suggestion that the bank should deduct 40% and pay him the remaining amount. She intends to keep 55% of the amount due and return 45% and has no longer responded to the customer's claims.
