The meeting of the Federal Council of the Federation of Professional Associations of Banks and Financial Institutions of UEMOA (FAPBEF-UEMOA) is being held on 13 January 2023 in Dakar.

The FAPBEF-UEMOA Federal Council meeting is part of the FAPBEF-UEMOA statutory meetings. This year, it has a special charm. The council will take place in the presence of all the APBEF Presidents of the UEMOA countries. At the end, the APBEF of Senegal will take over the rotating presidency of the FAPBEF-UEMOA, for a two-year mandate in succession to Niger. Nana Aïcha ANGO will pass on the baton to Bocar Sy, newly reappointed head of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Senegal (APBEFS) as the new president of FAPBEF-UEMOA.
