The UK-West and Central Africa Investment Forum was held from 18 to 20 October 2022 in London. On the occasion, the Ivorian Minister for Trade, Industry and the Promotion of SMEs, Souleymane Diarrassouba, obtained the provision of a fund of nearly 2,400 billion FCFA to guarantee British investments in Côte d'Ivoire.

During the joint meeting with the Department of International Trade and UKEF (UK Export Finance) on technical assistance and financing programmes, Souleymane Diarrassouba obtained nearly 2400 billion FCFA from his British counterpart.

Minister James Duddridge thus recognized Côte d'Ivoire as a hub for French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa and praised its economic performance. He then agreed in principle to his Ivorian counterpart to renew, within the framework of the APEI CI-UK, for an additional period of 3 years.
