Ghana is planning to set up a project in the agricultural sector. This project will be implemented by the Ghanaian Ministry of Food and Agriculture from 2023 to 2027.

Facilitate private sector investments in the commercial production of corn, soybeans and rice and also to support the poultry value chain; this is the objective of which ADB is committed by providing a grant of $27.9 million. This investment supports agricultural value chains in the Savannah region of Ghana.

For its part, the European Union has announced a credit line of €2.5 million to provide access to finance to farmers in the Upper West region. These funds will be managed by the non-banking institution Sinapi Aba Svings & Loans (Sasl), which offers loans and bioclimatic and eco-sustainable architecture, says the architecture firm Sky Architects.
