At the end of the trading session on Monday, December 5, 2022, the market capitalization of the shares market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) rose again after several days of decline.

The market capitalization of the BRVM stock market increased from 5725.746 billion FCFA on December 2, 2022 to 5747.496 billion FCFA on December 5, 2022, an increase of 21.75 billion FCFA. This improvement took place thanks to the increase of 0.38% to 190.95 points compared with 190.23 points the day before the BRVM Composite index (general stock market index). For its part, the BRVM 10 index (the index of the 10 flagship stocks on the stock market) recorded a fall of 0.36% to 157.01 points compared with 157.58 points the day before.

In addition, the market capitalization of the bond market fell by 71.26 billion to 8804.545 billion FCFA compared to 8875.805 billion FCFA the day before. As for the total value of transactions, it increased compared to the previous session, standing at 1.089 billion FCFA compared with 167.036 million FCFA.

The Flop 5 of the largest price declines is occupied respectively by Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.98% to 6,200 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (less 4.19% to 800 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.45% to 2,100 FCFA), Sitab Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.75% to 4 FCFA)) and ONATEL Burkina Faso (minus 2.73% at 3,210 FCFA). The TOP 5 of the largest price increases are respectively occupied by the securities NSIA Bank Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.42% to 4 560 FCFA), FILTISAC Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.24% to 1,185 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.04% to 1,140 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.98% to 1,150 FCFA) and Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.88% to 90 FCFA) 000 FCFA).
