The financial results of several BRVM companies have already been announced for the first nine months of 2022. Bank Of Africa Senegal was the one that recorded the largest increase in net profit.

The subsidiary of the Bank of Africa banking group (BOA Senegal) is currently the one with the largest increase in net income, with profits increasing by 45% among all companies that have already published their financial results for the first 9 months of 2022 on the Abidjan Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM). The Ivorian Cable Company (SICABLE), for its part, announced an increase of 67% in unaudited net profit, but was not taken into account in the analysis. Because, in the context of a dispute with the tax authority, this performance is more linked to the resumption of provisions built up over the same period in 2022.

In reality, BOA Senegal is up 15.4%, and its turnover is down 3%. In addition, the bank posted the best increase in net banking income among all Bank of Africa subsidiaries listed on the BRVM. Similarly, over the period analyzed, the 6 banks concerned posted a net profit of 72 billion CFA francs ($115.3 million), an increase of 8%.
