The BRVM 10 index (index of the 10 leading stock exchanges) gained 0.23% to 162.54 points compared with 162.16 points the day before. The BRVM Composite Index (the general stock market index) rose by 0.49% to 199.25 points compared with 198.27 points the day before.

The stock market capitalization recovered by 29.659 billion to 5997.442 billion FCFA against 5967.783 billion FCFA the day before. The bond market fell by 4.515 billion FCFA, from 8911.501 billion FCFA on December 19 to 8896.986 billion FCFA on December 20, 2022. The total value of transactions is also on the decline. It stood at 915,993 million FCFA against 2,697 billion FCFA the day before.
