At the end of 2022, the market capitalization of the stock market of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) recorded a strong increase of 1495.079 billion FCFA. It was at the end of the trading session on Friday, December 30, 2022.

On Friday, December 30, 2022, the market capitalization of the BRVM stock market rose from 6065.098 billion FCFA the day before to 7560.177 billion FCFA. At the origin of this strong increase, we note the first listing of 14,990,207 shares on Orange Côte d' Ivoire the BRVM on Friday with a reference price of 9,500 FCFA. The share price Orange Côte d' Ivoire was 10,210 FCFA, an increase of 710 FCFA.

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, the capitalization of the bond market thus increased from 8903.972 billion FCFA to 8926.897 billion FCFA on Friday, December 30, 2022, an increase of 22.925 billion. The BRVM 10 index (indices of the top 10 stock exchanges) recorded a fall of 0.81% to 165.58 points compared with 166.93 points previously. The BRVM composite index (the general stock market index), for its part, increased by 0.85% to 203.22 compared with 201.50 points the day before.

The top 5 largest price declines were occupied respectively by SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.32% to 950 FCFA), BOA Senegal (minus 5.41% to 2,450 FCFA), BOA Mali (minus 3.45% to 1,400 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.29 % at 11,605 FCFA) and Vivo Energy Côte d' Ivoire (minus 3.23% at 750 FCFA). As for the TOP 5 largest price increases, it was respectively occupied by Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire stocks (plus 6.94% to 770 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d' Ivoire (+6.38% to 2,000 FCFA), Total Sénégal ( plus 5.63% at 2,535 FCFA), Sitab Ivory Coast (plus 3.79% at 6,850 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Banque Côte d 'Ivory (plus 1.89% at 4,585 FCFA).
