The International Cashew Processing Equipment and Technologies Exhibition (Sietta) is scheduled from March 30 ^to April 1, 2023, at Heden Golf Hotel, in Abidjan-Cocody. This was reported by the managing director of the Cotton and Cashew Council, Adama Coulibaly, the show's general commissioner, during the official launch ceremony of Sietta on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Noom Hotel Plateau.

“ Contribution of the cashew industry to the resilience of African countries in the face of global economic challenges” is the theme chosen for this show. Discussions on the realities of cashew processing and its contribution to one économie of the African producing countries are expected by more than 15,000 visitors. On the sidelines of this show, the 5th session of the Council of Ministers of the International Cashew Advisory Council will take place. According to Kouassi Adjoumani, the reforms undertaken in the cashew sector, thanks to the Head of State, Alassane Ouattara, since 2013 are giving the expected results.

To this end, Côte d'Ivoire has made a qualitative leap to become the world's leading producer of cashew with production that doubled in eleven years, from 400,000 tons in 2011 to 1,020,000 tons in 2022.
