Le 19 janvier 2023, l' Etat du Niger a encaissé au niveau du marché financier de The West African Monetary Union (UMOA) worth 33 billion FCFA (56.100 million dollars) following its auction of equivalent treasury bonds (OAT) with a maturity of 5 years. L Through this issue, the Nigerian government authorities aim to mobilize the savings of natural and legal persons in order to ensure that the financing needs of the State budget are covered. The amount put up for auction by the issuer was 30 billion FCFA.
