The General Directorate of Public Accounting and Treasury (DGTCP) informed that Gabon expects to raise more than 794 billion on the markets of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (Cemac). The DGTCP has published its provisional program of public securities issues for the 2023 financial year.

The Gabonese government's project financing strategy continues through the issuance of public securities. According to the program forecast for this new year, the State plans to borrow 794.5 billion CFA francs on the financial market of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (Cemac).

With regard to similar Treasury Bills (BTAs), the details predict 444.5 billion CFA francs from January to December of this year. Equivalent Treasury Bonds (OTAs), for their part, amount to 350 billion CFA francs. Amounts increased slightly in the 2022 financial year, especially as the issuance strategy raised a total of 736 billion CFA francs.
