On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, the State of Côte d'Ivoire obtained 22.200 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market to ensure that the financing needs of its budget are covered. This was the result of a simultaneous auction of 182-day Treasury Bonds (BAT) and 3- and 5-year Treasury Equivalent Bonds (OAT).

The State of Côte d'Ivoire had put 85 billion FCFA up for auction. Indeed, the total amount of tenders is 31.400 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of 36.94% of the amount put out for auction. The rejected submissions amount to 9,200 billion FCFA (exclusively those proposed on 3- and 5-year bonds), representing an absorption rate of 70.70%. Those withheld amount to 22,200 billion FCFA (exclusively those offered on 182-day vouchers).
