Le 8 mars 2023, journée dédiée aux droits des femmes, la Abidjan Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) marked this with a ceremony colorful dedicated to gender equality.

“Educating a man is educating an individual. Educating a woman is educating a whole nation” was announced by the Director General of the BRVM, Edoh Kossi Amenounvé, quoting James Emman AGGREY (18 October 1875 — 30 July 1927), a Ghanaian intellectual, missionary and teacher. On the occasion of this day, the institution welcomed to its headquarters in Abidjan several women heads of companies and financial institutions, presidents and heads of foundations and women's associations.

To this end, significant changes have been made in the area of gender equality by the BRVM in recent years. Three women now sit on the BRVM Board of Directors.
