Burkina raised 10.760 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market. This was following a simultaneous auction of 6-month-day Treasury Bonds (BAT) and 3-year Treasury Bonds (OAT) on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

The issuer auctioned 30 billion FCFA. It obtained tenders worth 10.760 billion FCF, giving a coverage rate of 35.87% of the amount put up for auction. The issuer accepted all the bids, i.e. an absorption rate of 100%. Investors whose bids are successful will end up with a weighted average return of 6.76 percent for bonds and 5.26 percent for bonds. Indeed, vouchers are repayable on the first working day following the due date of September 13, 2023 and interest is payable in advance and precounted at their nominal value.
