As usual, the President of the Union Commission faces the deputies who are members of the UEMOA Inter-Parliamentary Committee every year in accordance with the provisions of articles 26 and 36 of the Treaty of the Union . It presents the general report on the functioning and development of the Union. For the 2022 financial year, the presentation is followed by discussions with deputies from the 8 member states. Noted that the UEMOA Inter-Parliamentary Committee is composed of 5 deputies per state, appointed by the legislative body of each member state.
