On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, the managing director of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM), Edoh Kossi Amenounvé, took part, as a special guest of the Nairobi Stock Exchange, Kenya, in the first listing ceremony of Laptrust Imara I- Reit, a real estate fund dedicated to pensions.

The listing ceremony was presided over by Dr. William Ruto, President of the Republic and Head of the Kenyan Armed Forces. The real estate fund dedicated to pensions is a major instrument for financing real estate in Kenya whose attractiveness and liquidity are reinforced by listing on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. Its mission is to generate superior returns from optimal and diversified real estate investments over the long term. For the President of the Republic of Kenya, it is necessary for capital markets and the entire financial system to find ways to massively mobilize local savings to finance the economic transformation of this country.

According to it, the Nairobi Stock Exchange is a privileged instrument to support the government's housing finance program in Kenya.
