After a simultaneous auction of 182-day Treasury Bonds (BAT) and 3-year and 5-year equivalent Treasury Bonds (OAT) on 24 April 2023, the Togo Public Treasury raised the sum of 33 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market. This was in order to ensure that the financing needs of the country's budget were covered.

The issuer auctioned 30 billion FCFA and ended up with global bids of 40.001 billion FCFA, representing a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 133 percent 3.34%. The amount of successful bids is 33 billion FCFA and that rejected at 7.001 billion FCFA, corresponding to an absorption rate of 82.50%. For 3-year bonds, investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted return of 6.59% for bonds and 6.69%. The issuer having rejected the bids made on the 5-year bonds.
