The end of the trading day on Thursday, May 4, 2023 was marked by an increase in all market activities at the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM).

The stock market capitalization erases its sharp fall the day before, registering an increase of 74.495 billion to 7387.774 billion FCFA compared to 7313.279 billion FCFA on May 3, 2023. While the bond market recorded a slight increase of 5 million FCFA, from 9948.456 billion FCFA the previous day to 9948.461 billion FCFA on May 4, 2023. The value of transactions increased from 522.518 million FCFA on May 3, 2023 to 756.026 million FCFA on May 4

, 2023.

On the other hand, the leading indexes are up. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) increased by 0.96% to 99.55 points compared with 98.60 points previously. The composite index (the general stock market index) rose by 1.02% to 198.58 points compared with 196.58 points the day before. And the BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) recorded the largest increase with +1.35% to 101.97 points compared with 100.61 points previously

The TOP 5 largest price increases are occupied respectively by Nestlé Ivory Coast (plus 7.45% to 7,935 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.34% to 1,170 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.26% to 665 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 734% to 1,170 FCFA), NEI CEDA Ivory Coast (plus 7.26% to 665 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 734% to 1,170 FCFA), NEI CEDA Ivory Coast (plus 7.26% to 665 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 73% to FCFA) ,16% to 2 395 FCFA) and Solibra Ivory Coast (plus 6.82% to 75,000 FCFA).
