While the bond market recorded a slight increase of 5 million FCFA, from 9948.456 billion FCFA the previous day to 9948.461 billion FCFA on May 4, 2023. The value of transactions increased from 522.518 million FCFA on May 3, 2023 to 756.026 million FCFA on May 4

On the other hand, the leading indexes are up. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) increased by 0.96% to 99.55 points compared with 98.60 points previously. The composite index (the general stock market index) rose by 1.02% to 198.58 points compared with 196.58 points the day before. And the BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) recorded the largest increase with +1.35% to 101.97 points compared with 100.61 points previously
