The Tanzanian bank CRDB Bank Plc in the DRC has obtained approval from the Central Bank of Congo. In this way, it is realizing its expansion project

CRDB Bank PLC One est of 34 active commercial banks eacute; in Tanzania, with the most extensive network of agencies in the country (more than 260 agencies). On 2 May last, it obtained its authorization to operate on the banking market of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The institution listed on the Dar es Salaam stock exchange since 2009 will be issued by the Central Bank of Congo (BCC) style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, “serif">, an identification number in order to be listed on the list of banks operating in the DRC. Fredrick Nshekanabo, Chief Financial Officer at CRDB Bank Group, announced their satisfaction in these terms: “We are satisfied with this journey that we have been able to take together in order to be able to open our doors in the DRC. [...] We express our desire to be operational as soon as possible [...] to start our activities.”
