At the end of the trading session on Monday, May 22, 2023, the SETAO (Société d'Études et de Travaux de l'Ouest) Côte d'Ivoire stock market appeared to be the most successful stock market on the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) with a price increase of 6.37%.

The value rose from 1020 FCFA on Friday, May 19, 2023 to 1085 FCFA on May 22, 2023, an increase of 65 FCFA. Thus, SETAO Côte d'Ivoire ranks first among the Top 5 with the largest price increases ahead of Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.33% to 1,395 FCFA), BOA Mali (plus 3.02% to 1,365 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.73% to 565 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Banque Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.04% to 5,000 FCFA)

Solibra Ivory Coast (minus 7.50% at 79,550 FCFA), Bernabé Ivory Coast (minus 2.01% at 1,955 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.01% at 1,955 FCFA), Onatel Burkina Faso (minus 1.69% at 2,900 FCFA) FCFA) and SAPH Ivory Coast (minus 1.65% at 4 170 FCFA)

The value of transactions in market activities is on the rise, standing at 651,030 million FCFA compared to 305.013 million FCFA on May 19, 2023. The market capitalization of the bond market is stationary at 10,132.045 billion FCFA. And the stock market fell by 71 million, from 7311.793 billion FCFA the day before to 7311.083 billion FCFA

A contrasting situation is noted with regard to stock market indices. The BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the values listed in the Prestige compartment) fell by 0.35% to 101.05 points compared with 101.40 points the day before. The composite index (the general stock market index) recorded the lowest fall with -0.01% to 196.52 points compared with 196.54 points on May 19, 2023. And the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) increased by 0.14% to 98.39 points compared with 98.25 points previously
