The composite index (the general stock market index) fell slightly by 0.08% to 196.42 points compared with 196.26 points. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) increased by 0.23% to 98.45 points compared with 98.22 points previously. The BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) increased by 0.25% to 102.07 points compared with 101.82 points the day before.

The stock market capitalization also increased by 6.219 billion, to 7307.438 billion FCFA compared to 7301.219 billion FCFA on May 24, 2023. The bond market fell by 2.519 billion, from 10,1111.672 billion FCFA the day before to 10,109,153 billion FCFA on May 25, 2023. The value of the transactions was 473.714 million FCFA compared to 547.768 million FCFA
