The partnership documents were signed by the Director General of BOAD, Serge Ekué, and the Director of Smart Africa, Lacina Koné. The agreement will allow the bank to help Smart Africa find innovative solutions through financing, with the aim of accelerating the digital transformation of states and the continent. According to the Director General of BOAD, Serge Ekué, the interest of these funds is focused on supporting the development of electronic commerce in space UEMOA , through the Smart Africa Trust Alliance project.
