Trade volumes between China and Africa reached 822.32 billion yuan, up 16.4% in the first five months of the year

Data from the General Administration of China Customs reveals that in the first five months of this year, the volume of trade between China and Africa increased by 16.4% to 822.32 billion yuan. New Chinese direct investments in Africa for 2022 reached 3.4 billion US dollars, making China the fourth largest source of investment in Africa.
