Paris, the capital of France, is once again hosting, on November 28 and 29, 2023, a meeting between officials of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), technical and financial partners as well as private investors for the mobilization of the 4.998.392 billion FCFA needed to finance the 2nd phase of the priority projects introduced speakers from the sub-region. This sum represents part of the 5,419.516 billion FCFA sought for

Compared to the 2.492.6 billion FCFA mobilized in November 2020 by the six states in the region (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Chad) for the first phase of the project, we thus note an increase of 100.52%, or 2.505.7 billion FCFA more.

At this stage, the CEMAC countries can already count on the 417.319 billion FCFA mobilized by some financial partners such as the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Central African Development Bank (BDEAC) and the African Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia.
