Trade worth 2381 billion FCFA was recorded between Dakar and Beijing in 2022. The information was revealed on Wednesday by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Senegal, Xiao Han.

China is Senegal's first economic partner, with a volume of trade that reached 4 billion dollars, or 2381.03 billion CFA francs, in 2022. For the first half of 2023, trade reached one billion dollars, or about 600 billion CFA francs, the Chinese diplomat noted on Wednesday, during a courtesy visit by the Director General of the Senegalese Press Agency (APS), Thierno Ahmadou Sy.
