It was announced on Friday, July 14, 2023 that Togo has mobilized an amount of 414 billion FCFA on the West African Monetary Union (UMOA) financial market, or 72% of the country's annual forecasts, in the first quarter of this year.

Togo succeeded in mobilizing 414 billion from investors, between January and June 2023. These are very encouraging results, which strengthen the country's position in the sub-region's public securities market. Indeed, while 203 billion FCFA were raised on the occasion of 24 issues of Treasury Assimilable Bonds (OAT), the country collected 211 billion FCFA through 13 issues of Treasury Assimilable Bonds (BAT). In reality, Togo has set itself the challenge of mobilizing 574 billion FCFA in 2023 against 550 billion FCFA in 2022.
