The meeting of Trade Ministers for Economic Integration was held in the presence of representatives of the UEMOA member states. It's the Senegal, Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, and Niger. The aim was to look at several key points.

The meeting of ministers is marked by expert review. They took note of initiatives to develop a strategy for the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLeCAF), with a focus on private sector concerns. At this same meeting, several other topics were discussed; these include the operationalization of the “Month of October, Local Consumer Month” initiative in UEMOA, the establishment of a national competition authority in each Member State and the implementation of the recommendations formulated in

Au terme de cette rencontre, les ministres ont réaffirmé leur engagement à promote economic integration and to strengthen trade within UEMOA. The recommendations formulated by the meeting of experts were also validated.
