Guinea-Bissau received 11 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. It was under a simultaneous auction of 3 and 12-month treasury equivalent bonds (BAT) organized at the level of the UEMOA financial market

The issuer had auctioned for 10 billion FCFA. At the end of the operation, investors offered global tenders of 12.577 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of the amount auctioned of 125.77%.

The amount of bids selected by the Guinea-Bissau State Treasury is 11 billion and the rejected one 1.577 billion. This gives an absorption rate of 87.46%. Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 7.49% for 3-month bonds and 7.75% for 12-month

Vouchers will be redeemed on the first business day following the expiry date of November 7, 2023 for 3-month titles and June 27, 2024 for 12-month titles.
