The BCEAO business note for the month of July 2023 indicates that, during the month of June 2023, transactions in the regional financial market resulted in an increase in the overall volume of public securities issues and an increase in interest rates compared to the previous month.

On the auction market, the Central Bank indicates, the resources raised by the states stood at 1721.8 billion, including 513.1 billion in Treasury bills and 1258.7 billion in Treasury bonds. Compared with May 2023, the resources mobilized increased by 1066.0 billion (+162.5%), driven by both the increase in the issuance of bonds (+34.5 billion) and bonds (+1.031.5 billion)
