At the end of this week, UNIWAX Côte d'Ivoire again came close to this peak previously reached, driven by a volume of 11,815 titles traded, recording a performance of 14.19%. The stock made a loss of 1.3 billion FCFA in its 2022 financial year. In addition, the year 2023 does not look better than the previous one in view of the bearish result of 90.85% recorded by the company in the first quarter

The weekly value traded was 5.25 billion FCFA compared to 498.7 million FCFA the previous week, representing an increase of 4.75 billion FCFA in the total value traded on bond securities at the end of this week. The BRVM bond compartment ended the week under review with a market capitalization of 10,132 billion FCFA as of August 25, 2023, compared with 9,942 billion FCFA as of August 21, 2023, an increase of 1.91%

According to the publication by CGF Bourse, this increase is mainly justified by the first listing of bond loans “EOS.O9 - ETAT DU SENEGAL 6% 2023-2028", “EOS.O10 - ÉTAT DU SENEGAL 6.15% 2023-2030” and “EOS.O11- ETAT DU SENEGAL 6.35% 2023-030" and “EOS.O11- ETAT DU SENEGAL 6.35% 2023-030" 23-2033” on the date of August 23, 2023.
