The Government of Benin has signed, in collaboration with China, an agreement on the three-year cooperation plan (2023-2026) in key areas between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Cooperation of the Republic of Benin. A partnership on the letter of intent on jointly accelerating the preparation of the “Belt and Road” cooperation plan between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Cooperation of the Republic of Benin. A memorandum of understanding was signed on cooperation in the field of storage management and reduction of post-production losses of cereals between the National Administration of Food and Strategic Reserves of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in charge of Cooperation of the Republic of Benin.

The memorandum of understanding on exchanges and cooperation in the field of economic development between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Finance in in charge of the Cooperation of the Republic of Benin. The memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in charge of Cooperation of the Republic of Benin, concerning the establishment of the Working Group on Investment and Economic Cooperation. And the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Cooperation of the Republic of Benin concerning the strengthening of investment cooperation in the digital economy.

Therefore, was the signing of the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Benin, of the Memorandum of Understanding between the China Agency for International Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Benin on strengthening development cooperation and on promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative. The communication and information agreement between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Benin was signed in addition to the agreement between China Media Group and ORTB

The agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Benin concerning the project for cataract surgery in Benin in 2023 entitled “March to Light” and the Protocol concerning the export of fresh pineapple from Benin to China were also signed.
