Depuis le lundi 04 septembre 2023, Cartagena de Indias is hosting the fourth edition of the Finance in Common Summit (FICs). It is the largest global meeting of development banks.

At the fourth edition of FiCS, participants seek to strengthen partnerships for a more sustainable future, strengthen the partnerships and collaboration of the global BPD (public development banks) network to foster sustainable finance, promote development, and contribute to R&D eacute; achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement. This is what the organizers said in a statement.

The summit focuses on four themes such as: small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and financial inclusion, climate and biodiversity, sustainable infrastructure, and the institutional strengthening program of public development banks. It aims to strengthen alliances and foster global collaboration between BDPs (public development banks) to promote sustainable finance”, thereby contributing to the achievement of UN objectives.
