The Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) launched on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, a call for applications for economic researchers aged 45 or older by December 31, 2023 for the 2024 edition of the “Abdoulaye Fadiga Prize for the Promotion of Research & “eacute; economic” open with 10 million CFA francs

Economic researchers aged 45 at the most on December 31, 2023 and who are nationals of one of the eight UEMOA member states (Benin, Burkina, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, S& eacute; Négal, Togo), residing or not in the territory of the Union, can submit their applications for the 2024 edition of the Abdoulaye Fadiga Prize. The study can be personal or developed by a team of researchers. The deadline for submitting applications is 31 August 2024 and the article will be written in French or Portuguese.

Productions can also bring about climate change and economic and financial impacts for countries, regional economic integration, financial stability, micro and macroprudential policies in the West African Monetary Union (UMOA) and other topics that may provide insight and a relevant contribution to implementation Economic, financial and monetary policies are accepted by the BCEAO.
