A financing agreement of 65 million euros was signed last Thursday, September 14, between Atlantic Business International (ABI), the holding holding company in the UEMOA zone of the BCP Group (Banque Centrale Populaire) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

L'accord de financement entre The sum of 65 million euros between BCP and EIB is aimed at supporting businesses in Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Senegal via the Banque Atlantique network. Through this agreement, the BCP Group and the EIB are extending their cooperation to the region's Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) market. According to a statement by the signatories of the agreement, this partnership will contribute to the achievement of the African Union (AU) Agenda 2063, the EU External Action and the EU Multiannual Indicative Programme for Sub-Saharan Africa 2021-2027, thereby supporting inclusive and job-creating economic growth on the continent, in line with the EU's multi-annual indicative programmes in Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Senegal.
