At the end of this week, the leading indexes of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) are continuing the series of declines begun since September 18.

At the end of the trading session on Thursday, September 21, 2023, the BRVM Prestige index (index grouping all the values listed on the Prestige compartment) fell by 0.15% to 105.39 points compared to 105.55 points previously. The BRVM C index (the general stock market index) fell by 0.41% to 210.89 points from 211.76 points the day before. Then the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) also registered a drop of 0.41% to 105.89 points compared to 106.33 points

Similarly, a decrease in the total value of transactions was recorded in the other market activities, standing at 684.031 million FCFA compared to 830.085 million FCFA the day before. For its part, the capitalization of the equity market also fell by 32.049 billion, to 7845.812 billion FCFA against 7877.861 billion FCFA on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. The bond market also fell by 13.286 billion FCFA, from 10 160.567 billion FCFA the day before to 10 147.281 billion FCFA.

The Flop 5 of the largest price falls is occupied by the titles Oragroup Togo (minus 7.22% at 2,505 FCFA), SICOR Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.12% at 5,005 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.95% at 1,255 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.94% at 4,800 FCFA) and SITAB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.67% at 5,900 FCFA). While the Top 5 of the largest price increases are respectively occupied by SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.31% to 1,090 FCFA), Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.50% to 820 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.94% to 525 FCFA), Société Ivoirienne de Banque Côte d'Ivoire (plus 0.94% to 5,350 FCFA) and Coris Bank International Burkina Faso (plus 0.63% at 8,050 FCFA
