The International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced in a statement issued on Thursday, September 21, that Burkina Faso has obtained $302 million in funding from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), with an immediate disbursement of $31.8 million.

The IMF financing program will enable Burkina Faso to resolve protracted balance of payments problems, achieve macroeconomic stabilization, and mitigate the impact of current shocks on the most vulnerable.
