La Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) offered a big gift to Crypto-ETF companies. It has granted approval to a number of Ethereum futures strategies that may soon begin trading.

Roxanna Islam, head of industry and industry research at VettaFi indicated that “the SEC emptied its offices prior to the possible government shutdown, which means delaying Bitcoin ETF spot deposits while probably allowing future Ether ETFs to potentially start trading early next week.” Indeed, Valkyrie Funds seems to be the first on its list, which had filed a request with the regulator to add Ethereum futures to its existing Bitcoin strategy ETF.
