With the aim of promoting digital uses within 12 to 18 months, UEMOA is thinking of adopting reforms in its member countries.

L'Uemoa vise à énoncer the principles and conditions with which Member States are invited to comply, in the context of promoting digital uses within a period of twelve to eighteen months. For this reason, it is taking a decision concerning the creation of the Committee of National Digital Regulators of the member countries, and the regional integration institution has also been adopted. This is a decision that aims to create a broader framework for consultation between the Digital Regulatory Authorities of the Member States under the UEMOA Commission, to improve governance in the digital economy sector
