At the end of the trading session of Thursday, October 5, 2023, the market capitalization of the stock market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) increased by 32.729 billion FCFA.

The market capitalization of the BRVM equity market stood at 7767.286 billion FCFA compared to 7734.557 billion FCFA on October 4, 2023. This increase occurred following the increase of 0.42% to 208.78 points compared to 207.90 points the day before of the BRVM C index (the general stock market index). On the other hand, the capitalization of the bond market fell by 7.113 billion, standing at 10 218.966 billion FCFA compared to 10,226.079 billion FCFA on October 4, 2023.
As for the total value of transactions, it stood at 1.177 billion FCFA compared to 2.353 billion FCFA the day before

The BRVM Prestige Index (an index containing all the values listed on the Prestige compartment), is still down with -0.58% to 100.85 points compared to 101.44 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) increased by 0.49% to 105.14 points compared to 104.63 points previously

The Flop 5 of the largest price declines is occupied by Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.48% to 6,930 FCFA), Crown SIEM Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.80% to 650 FCFA), SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.66% to 2,500 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.4%) 30% at 1,225 FCFA) and Oragroup Togo (minus 3.23% at 2,700 FCFA).
