Malgré des placements du Trésor en baisse, le marché monétaire affiche des signes d' allègement du déficit de liquidité bancaire selon BMCE Capital Global Research (BKGR) weekly report.

The past week saw an alleviation of the bank liquidity deficit, after a few weeks of widening the latter. The average bank liquidity deficit narrowed slightly by -1.38%, to -129.5 billion Moroccan dirhams (MMDH) according to information contained in the weekly BMCE Capital Global Research (BKGR) report. This reduction in the deficit is accompanied by a decrease in 7-day advances from the central bank, which fell by -1.8 billion dirhams to 42.2 billion dirhams. This decrease in Treasury investments may be due to a variety of factors, including government financing needs and the debt management strategy.
