Between November 2022 and October 2023, the Ziguinchor region (south) obtained funding in the amount of 692 million CFA francs from the Ministry of Microfinance and the Social and Solidarity Economy between November 2022 and October 2023.

The Minister of Microfinance and Social and Solidarity Economy, Victorine Ndeye indicated that “the Ziguinchor region received from the Ministry of Microfinance and the Social and Solidarity Economy the sum of 692 million CFA francs, from November 2022 to October 2023”. These funds and grants are intended for young entrepreneurs and women who are active in the sectors of processing various products, trade, agriculture, livestock, fishing and handicrafts
