Following a targeted auction of equivalent treasury bonds (BAT) lasting 28 days, the Directorate-General of the Treasury and Public Accounts (DGTCP) obtained 44 billion euros from the UEMOA financial market FCFA. It was on Friday, October 27, 2023, in order to meet the financing needs of the Senegalese state budget.

40 billion FCFA was auctioned by the issuer. The DGTCP received total tenders of 49.984 billion FCFA at the end, representing a coverage rate of 124.96% of the amount put up for auction. The amount of accepted tenders was 44 billion FCFA and that rejected was 5.984 billion FCFA, representing an absorption rate of 88.03%. The DGTCP undertakes to reimburse the vouchers on the first working day following the due date of November 26, 2023
