The month of November started with sharp declines in the three key indices of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM).

At the end of the trading session on Thursday, November 2, 2023, the BRVM Prestige Index (an index comprising all the values listed in the Prestige compartment) fell by 0.65% to 99.54 points against 100.19 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) fell by 1.02% to 103.56 points against 104.63 points previously and the C index (the general stock exchange index), which recorded a significant drop of 0.99% to 205.96 points against 208.02 points the day before

The capitalization of the stock market fell from 76.809 billion FCFA to 7662.228 billion FCFA compared to 7739.037 billion FCFA on 31 October 2023 and that of the bond market still remained stable at 10,383.848 billion FCFA.

In addition, the value of transactions raised the bar to 1.550 billion FCFA compared to 502.850 million FCFA the day before.

The Flop 5 of the largest price declines are occupied by stocks, Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% to 555 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.40% to 1,565 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (minus 7.07% to 2,300 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (less 7.02% to 795 FCFA) and Uniwax Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.85% to 680 FCFA). While the Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.14% to 1,200 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (up 6.79% to 1,260 FCFA), Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (up 1.91% to 6,930 FCFA), BOA Senegal (up 1.59% to 3,200 FCFA) and Bicici Côte d'Ivoire (up 1.47%) at 6,900
