On Thursday, December 7, the Senegalese and French prime ministers discussed the challenges and areas of cooperation between France and Senegal. It should be noted that as of 30 November 2023, the two countries signed 56 financing agreements for a total amount of 2.35 billion euros, or 1,541.4 billion FCFA

The exchanges between Amadou Ba and Elisabeth Borne, respectively Senegalese and French Prime Ministers, provided an opportunity to take stock of joint projects and areas of cooperation between France and Senegal, one year after the fifth edition of the Franco-Senegalese intergovernmental seminar held on 8 December ; December 2022. This bilateral meeting, according to the Office of Government Information, “was a strong moment of exchange on the roadmap of the last seminar held on December 8 in order to consolidate the dynamism of cooperation between Senegal and France.”
