The High Authority for Preventing and Combating Corruption and Similar Offences (Haplucia) presented its results in Lomé at the international anti-corruption conference. According to the information, the institution obtained 88 complaints and denunciations related to bribes from 2018 to 2023

The president of the institution, Kimelabalou Aba, indicated in his report that 12 complaints out of these 88 have been received this year, and some cases have been resolved, with the reimbursement of embezzled funds. The High Authority has also strengthened Togo's external cooperation on the issue, by joining several organizations international and continental.
