The local committee of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) announced on December 21, 2023, on the occasion of its 2022 final report, that mining revenues represent 85.61% of the total, or 235.71 billion FCFA in Senegal.

Extractive revenues reached 275.33 billion FCFA (443.27 million $) in 2022 in Senegal. Mining revenues increased by 16% year-on-year, thanks to improved flows ô Imp style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif">t on income from movable assets è Res ” and “ é Dividends paid 'É Theà State ” . Extractive revenues (Mines and Hydrocarbons) allocated to the State budget also increased by 14% compared to 2021, reaching 242 billion CFA francs. 88% of extractive sector revenues therefore go to the State budget, the rest being distributed between various organizations including PETROSEN, social and environmental payments and those of the
